The importance of introducing the concept of sustainable development in the activities of modern economic entity

Abstract

Economic relations of the present period determine the importance of the concept of sustainable
development in the activities of the modern economic entity. For the modern business space, it is important that most
of the research, both practical and theoretical in terms of sustainable development are devoted mainly to the study
of macro systems (individual States, regions, etc.). Sustainable development of business entities at the micro level is
not given sufficient attention in modern research. In turn, stability at the macro level (at the level of the region, the
state and the world space) in modern conditions can be provided by the stability of business of individual economic
entities. Sustainable development of an economic entity is characterized by interrelated actions aimed at achieving
a balanced socio-economic and environmental effect and contributing to the transition to a qualitatively new state of
the economic entity, forming and regulating relations with its stakeholders.
