  • Dear Reviewers, Notice on Email Address Requirements for Reviewers

    The Editorial Office of the Economic series of the Bulletin of L.N. Gumilyov ENU informs reviewers of the email address requirements introduced to enhance the quality, transparency, and integrity of the peer-review process and to ensure efficient editorial operations through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

    When registering and assigning reviewers, particular attention is paid to the validity and reliability of their email addresses.

    Accordingly, the following requirements apply:

    1. Reviewers are encouraged to use official institutional email addresses provided by universities, research institutions, or other recognized organizations.
    2. Where the use of an institutional email address is not possible, Gmail (@gmail.com) addresses are permitted.
    3. Email addresses associated with @mail.ru, @yandex.ru, @bk.ru, @inbox.ru, @list.ru, and other publicly available personal email services are not accepted as the primary means of communication with the Editorial Office.
    4. Reviewers already registered on the journal's OJS platform are requested to verify their email addresses and, where necessary, update their profiles with a valid institutional email address or Gmail address.
    5. Email addresses that fail to receive system notifications or editorial correspondence must be updated to ensure uninterrupted communication.

    These requirements are intended to strengthen the reliability of the peer-review process, facilitate effective communication between reviewers and the Editorial Office, and maintain high standards of academic publishing.

  • About changing the price list

    Dear Authors,
    As of January 1 of the current year, the price list for other paid services of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company) has been updated.
    The cost of one article accepted for publication by the journal’s editorial board is 60,000 tenge.
    In addition, upon registration and submission of an article in the journal’s system, authors are required to pay a fee of 12,000 tenge (amounting to 20% of the total publication cost) to cover the publisher’s expenses related to the purchase of a licensed plagiarism detection system, as well as remuneration for reviewers and the journal’s editorial staff.
    In the event that an article is rejected by the journal’s editorial board, the paid fee is non-refundable.
    If an article is resubmitted after revision based on the results of compliance with the journal’s formal requirements and the peer review process, authors are required to again pay 20% of the article’s cost
