Cultural tourism of Kazakhstan at the present stage of development

Abstract

In the article, the authors considered the main aspects of the development of cultural tourism at the present stage of development. The main purpose of the article is to analyze the development of cultural tourism at the present stage of development. Today, most countries of the world are interested in increasing the role of cultural tourism, since it is the promotion and development of the country's culture from the point of view of tourism that should become one of the most important political tasks, especially in the context of leveling the national traits of countries in a globalized world. The authors assessed the development of cultural tourism in Kazakhstan according to the Travel and tourism Development Index: Kazakhstan ranked 66th out of 117 countries. The main programs for the development of cultural tourism are also analyzed, the structure of public spending on paid services in the field of cultural tourism, income from the sale of products and services in the field of cultural tourism is assessed, a SWOT analysis of cultural tourism is given, etc.
