In the last decade, Kazakhstan has been actively financing the agricultural sector mainly at the expense of budgetary funds. The funds invested by the state go to the development of various sub-sectors, including special attention is paid to meat farming. In this research, the issues of the relationship of credit injections into the meat livestock industry with the growth of production are studied. The analysis of the main indicators of agriculture in the dynamics of the last five-year plan has been carried out and linear trends in indicators of production and consumption of livestock products in Kazakhstan have been identified. The study of the parameters of export and import of livestock products of the country revealed the shortage of this type of products to meet the domestic demand of the population and, as a consequence, the need to fill such a deficit. Due to the fact that it is the production of livestock products that plays an important role in ensuring the food security of citizens, the financing of this industry will be of promising importance in the future. The forecast of indicators of financing and production of products in the meat livestock industry, compiled on the basis of actual data, allowed the authors to conclude about a possible positive trend, provided that the trend of state support for agriculture continues and the exclusion of inappropriate spending of such investments.
