Abstract

The relevance of the author’s research is due to the fact that the dynamic development
of the food industry is one of the priorities of the national economy, in this regard, the modern economy
requires an effective management system and the creation of conditions to support nativ producers. It is
shown that the economic processes are taking place in Kazakhstan are purposeful in the context of the state
policy; it is the state that can have a decisive influence on the development of the food industry, adequate
to the requirements of creating a new economy.
In the framework of the study are considered management mechanisms and approaches in the
development of the food industry. Topical issues of implementation of state programs are considered in
Kazakhstan.
