Abstract

The article describes the main directions of the state strategy aimed at deregulation of the economy
associated with the transfer of state property in a competitive environment. The author reveals the process of liberalization
of relations between the state and business, aimed at the activation of entrepreneurship and private initiative.
Large-scale privatization in accordance with the Comprehensive plan for 2016-2020 has become a tool of Kazakhstan’s
economic policy.
The main emphasis of the article is made on measures of state support for the development of private entrepreneurship
and the formation of infrastructure that contributes to the share of small and medium-sized businesses in
GDP. In particular, the importance of introducing courses in educational programs that provide theoretical and practical
basis for students to create their own business is considered.
