Economic efficiency of agriculture and its features in personal husbandaries

Abstract

In this article, the efficiency of production in agriculture is considered as the most
important qualitative indicator of the agricultural economy. The concept of efficiency is described, on the
one hand, as the ratio between the results of production, on the other hand, as the ratio between the means
of production and labor costs. In addition, the views of foreign scientists on the economic efficiency of
agriculture and the types of efficiency were presented. Much attention is paid to the study of the concept of
economic efficiency. The comparative characteristic of the concept «efficiency» is made in the form of a
special table. Noting that the efficiency of the economy of the population as a small object of management
in agriculture depends on the types of farms, the economic efficiency of agricultural production was
characterized by a system of natural and cost indicators. The classification of indicators of production
efficiency in relation to the economy of the population. Advantages of economy of the population in
comparison with other economic entities are studied and defined.
