Assessment of the potential of the clustering system of regional economies

Abstract

The article deals with the issue of determining and assessing the potential of the cluster
system in the development of the economy of the regions of Kazakhstan. The aim of the study is to assess
the economic efficiency of the implementation of the clustering system to ensure the development of
regional economies and the rationale for the effectiveness of its use.
The research process is based on the system, economic-statistical and calculation-constructive
methods, as well as theoretical methods of research, generalization and analysis. The basis of the study is
the data of the Committee on statistics of the Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists on the clustering of the economy.
The results of the study are expressed in the assessment of economic efficiency indicators, which
allow to prove the concept of the importance of the system of clustering of the economy of the regions of
Kazakhstan.
The authors believe that the results of the study can be used in research activities when considering
the clustering of regional native economies.
